Diseases of the Immune System for Massage Therapists (3 CE hours)


Course Description
This course is a review of the diseases and disorders of the immune system. It covers the biological structures and processes within the body that work together to provide the basic protections against invading pathogens such as fungi, viruses and animalistic parasites. Particular attention is spent on those diseases that the massage therapist is most likely to encounter, such as Fibromyalgia, Lupus and HIV/Aids.

List the modes of transmission of HIV.
